Dubai (Emirates)
Highlights include the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab.
Abu Dhabi (Etihad Airways)
Visit the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Ferrari World on Yas Island and Marina Mall. Dubai can also be reached by bus in approximately 1.5 hours.
Doha (Qatar Airways)
Explore the Museum of Islamic Art, Souq Waqif and The Pearl-Qatar.
Bangkok (Thai Airways, Emirates)
Visit Wat Pho, Khao San Road and the Grand Palace. Bangkok is also an excellent starting point for travelling to other destinations in Thailand.
Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam Airlines)
Discover the Independence Palace, the Cu Chi Tunnels and the War Remnants Museum. From Ho Chi Minh City, you can also continue travelling around Vietnam.
Singapore (Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Lufthansa codeshare flights)
Highlights include Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, Sentosa Island and Universal Studios Singapore.
Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia Airlines)
Visit the Petronas Towers, Merdeka Square, Chinatown and the Batu Caves.
Taipei (China Airlines)
Explore Taipei 101, the National Palace Museum and the city’s famous night markets, which are particularly well known for their excellent street food.
Hong Kong (Cathay Pacific, Lufthansa codeshare flights)
Visit Victoria Harbour, Victoria Peak and Hong Kong Disneyland, or take a day trip to Macau.
Shanghai (China Eastern Airlines, Air China)
Highlights include The Bund, Yu Garden and the Oriental Pearl Tower.
Beijing (Air China)
Visit the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square.
Seoul (Asiana Airlines, Korean Air)
Visit the Demilitarised Zone on the border with North Korea, Bukchon Hanok Village, Changdeokgung Palace and the Gangnam district.
Tokyo (ANA, Japan Airlines)
Explore Tokyo Tower, Sensō-ji Temple and Tokyo Disneyland.
Another option is to travel via the United States with United Airlines or American Airlines. However, this route is generally more expensive and involves longer travel times, so it is not usually the most convenient choice.
